The Tino is a comfortable

"The Tino is a comfortable pocket pen with smooth nibs (I also purchased the extra-fine nib). It fits nicely in my Louise Carmen Ernest notebook cover, and I enjoy writing and sketching with it. The stepdown is surprisingly comfortable and doesn't impede my writing experience at all. The reason for four stars is that the cap has to sit in a specific spot for it to not wobble around while closed. I was also expecting a little more weight, based on other reviews, but the resin pens are much lighter in weight. Still, this is a wonderful pocket pen, and I would recommend it to others!"

Absolutely love the Tino Mother

"Absolutely love the Tino Mother Limited Edition! It is a wonderful size for small to medium-sized hands and I find it comfortable to write with. The nib worked well from the start with the ink cartridge."

Great design, choppy flow - be cautious

"I love the look and feel of this pen, and I was really excited to receive it. However, I’ve tried two different ink brands (Tom’s and Diamine), and the ink flow has been very inconsistent—it’s choppy and frequently cuts out while writing. I’m planning to try a cartridge next, but it’s starting to get frustrating. Maybe I just got a defective unit, so I’ll be reaching out to Top Drawer to see what they can do. If you’re buying this purely for its design, it’s a great choice. But if you’re looking for a reliable everyday writing tool, I’d be cautious. I’d also recommend purchasing it in person if you’re particular about the design, as there can be quite a bit of variation between units."

Confusing Addiction

"When looking at this pen you have so many questions. Will the step down be uncomfortable? Where should you grip it? Is that cap secure with no threads? And is it worth its price? At least that was my thought process. Fomo made me pull the trigger and now I want more! the step to the brass is barely noticeable and is not uncomfortable, I hold my fingers on the brass and my thumb on the acrylic. This is one of the smoothest nibs combined the convenience of a pull cap makes for a pen you keep reaching for over and over! The cap is secure and has a satisfying click when full closed. I can't wait to add more colors to my collection!"
