"I’ve been struggling to find some quality made handkerchiefs that are soft cotton without lace or stitch detailing. These came up and I bought a few. While they are soft and pretty, after one wash threads are loose and even the dye is coming out. Honestly, I’m not concerned about the pretty design more than the quality of them holding together. Probably not something I would repurchase."

While the instructions say not to machine wash and dry, I did (on the delicate cycle) as a test to one of the 5 I purchased and it was even softer and more supple than it was brand new - barely any shrinkage.
